No, I WASN'T dreaming, cause that definitely hurt….

I couldn't believe it. Was I about to go on an actual date with the girl of my dreams? Me?!  A few years ago, nobody gave a *dang about me… and now... I was going on a date with the one girl that changed my entire life.

What was it about her that made my heart beat so fast? Her cute little laugh? Or her passion for life? Maybe it was the way her pigtails moved whenever she was happy. I do

I've been planning do draw 4 or 5 little gifts all before new years! They're completely erratic, random, late Christmas gifts to just random friends really xD Basically who ever has a character screaming at me to draw it. But like I said I'm only doing 3 or 4 or 5 of these. These are really just shading/texture/blending technique practices but I'm making them gifts hurrhurr

AFTER New Years (2013 wooo) I'll be continuing my commission work. And when I'm done with THAT I can lay down some real prices and get down to the nitty gritty with that.... ANNNNYWAY.

My first gift!
This is Francesca Lorenzetti who belongs to ~VampdevilFamily!
Mostly trying new texture techniques. And practicing my new shading technique as well. I basically lay down the shade color on a new layer over the base color as if I were cell shading, then I use the smudge tool and go crazy. xD
I really like the outcome :3

Oh this is so beautiful spice! Oh I just love those colors, they really do look like fabric. The entire thing gives off this very elegant Victorian vibe and I love it!
