O DEER!

This is new-- actually no. This is me going back to my start in digital art, pixel dolling! I haven't done this in a number of years. I began in 2006, and technically I made a doll of Quorra in 2012, but besides that anomaly, I haven't been into dolling since 2009. 

But I was going back in time, via the Way Back machine and revisiting all the old dolling web sites and forums I used to go on, including my own digital relic, and something just grew back inside of me...like when the Grinch grew his heart or something lolol idk 

Anyway, that was about a week ago. Since then I've been inspired to make a lot of pixel art and regain some of my skills, if I can.. and hopefully improve.  This doll here is practice. I did my trusted method of pixeling...which means shading and coloring everything with only pixels using the dithering technique (dots). I never was interested in the tooling technique because when I was younger, I wasn't very good at tooling (and I only used a mouse), and I'm just so used to pixeling anyway. Tooling might come in handy though.

BUT YES. This also isn't just a random character... she is one I wrote about in a short story I made for one of my classes about a shy country girl meeting a deer girl and her brother. This (obviously) the deer girl, named Leona :3

I'm still not *great* at pixel dolling, but since I have to urge to do it now, I figure now is as good a time than any to work on my skills.
