BtW - 'You know...' - Roland animation test

Yaaaay!
This is my first actual animation and I'm so proud of myself xD
I've done animations before, but they've all been rotoscopes (you know, just tracing the actual gif). This is an actual animation without tracing!
I broke down the original gif and used each frame as a reference (instead of just tracing the frames), drew each one, one by one, and put them all together! I really want to elaborate on this and make it longer and better, maybe even add a background and have him talking to Carmandi or someone. I'd like to show the finished product during my senior art show in 2019 (if the good Lord allows it haha). I have my first animation class next semester (actually it's everyone's first... this is the first time the teacher is offering and teaching it xD) so hopefully I'll be able to learn how to properly animate a thing.  

I also actually like my rough draft of this animation too. I couldn't decide if I wanted him to smile or look more like he's thinking in conversation... I chose the latter because it's more in character for him, but I still really like this u3u
