Not In It For The Glory

I was uh... inspired. So I created a new story starring two Lunari (moon) elves : D This is another lazy drawing with A TON of mistakes and things, but I might turn it into an actual painting one day... one day xD I was also listening to this a LOT while drawing, so that's what influenced the synthwave lighting effects and the background xD

yes of course its a cheesy romance story what did you expect from me??? well it SORT of is... bear with me u3u

This is the Legend of Arriko or The Burden (those are working titles for now u3u).

Arriko (the girl with the sword), is a girl from an ex-noble family, living on one of the Cityboats of Abalonia. Legend says, one day, she is contacted by the moon goddess Lamoora, who tells Arriko that the Abalonian Lunari Prince, Ellixan (or Elli, the guy at the bottom) will be ambushed and attacked by a powerful enemy. If they succeed, they will take over and Abalonia will never be the same again. It's up to Arriko to warn her people so they can be saved! 
Unfortunately, for Arriko, no one else believes her when she tries to explain and the people (and even the Prince himself) reassure her the city of Abalonia is confidently protected. Confident in her doubt about that, Arriko decides to do the noble and dangerous thing (which was her calling all along), and take on the enemy herself. Lamoora honors this bravery by granting Arriko an enchanted sword and proclaiming Arriko sole protector of the Territory and the Prince. Now Arriko must fight with Lamoora "at her side", able to give Arriko some foresight when the enemy is near. Of course, she'd much rather claim the title of Protector of Abalonia, than Protector of the Prince.
Despite not having much of an opinion about him before, Arriko begins learning about him and finds herself filled with a sudden compassion for him...while setting out to save her people, this warrior begins to save someone new in her heart. Now things get complicated....

How does it end??? I have no idea xD the story is still being written  
A lot of stuff will probably change too, but yeah xD you get it.  This is a canon story that goes along with Beyond the Wall and a few others I have thought up. This one takes place centuries before BtW though.... when Abalonia had a monarchy instead of a gerontocracy.

Inspired by a true story... but not really.. or was it???
